Green Advice
Many of my customers are requesting advice on saving energy with their existing lighting circuits, especially kitchen down/spotlights and outside flood lighting. With several options available now the manufacturers are getting up to speed with energy saving lamps (bulbs) I am enthusiastic to advise, preferably with a site visit on this important aspect of an electrician's duty.
BS7671 (Requirements for Electrical Installations) recommends that domestic installations are inspected every 10 years to ensure compliance with the regulations and that installations are safe to use / fit for purpose.
